About High Peaks Solar
High Peaks Solar is an owner operated photovoltaic systems installation company. We do all of our residential solar installation and design (and most of our commercial solar designs) in house, as well as our solar installations and servicing.
To demonstrate our commitment to customers, High Peaks Solar opened a solar showroom in Wynantskill, New York to display some of the newest PV technology on the market. Here, we have functioning solar panels, both grid connected, and off grid.
The team at High Peaks Solar has experience in all types of photovoltaic systems in many locations. Our experience includes solar well pumps, mobile trailer units, off grid systems, grid connected battery based systems, and more. Our technicians have done PV installation work in New York, Vermont, Haiti, Tanzania, Dominican Republic, St. Vincent (BVI), Grenada, St. Lucia, and Colorado.

Our Solar Powered Charity
The Sky is Not Limited was founded in 2006 by Kevin Bailey. Fundraising began in 2007 in the parking lots of various Dave Matthews Band concerts around the Northeast USA. That summer, Kevin raised several thousand dollars by asking concert goers to help fund clean water projects in Africa with a small donation. In 2008 through 2017, The Sky is Not Limited was invited by Reverb to be part of the EcoVillage at various concerts. This gave the organization the opportunity to be in front of thousand of concert goers in a formal booth setting.
In 2011, The Sky is Not Limited funded their first solar powered well in Tanzania through donations received on the road! This was helped by a chance encounter with Maria Pool, founder of African Reflections Foundation. Mr. Bailey traveled to Tanzania to help install this one of a kind deep well.
Since 2011, The Sky is Not Limited has funded or installed 20 deep wells throughout Africa and Haiti. All but one of these wells have been located in Tanzania, Africa, in partnership with African Reflections Foundation. The other well was located in Fontaine, Haiti. We will be continuing to fund and offer assistance towards the installation of solar wells for the future.
