This 5.5kW roof mounted system will offset 100% of the homeowner’s usage.  This project is located in Niskayuna, N.Y.  The homeowners opted for black on black modules by SolarWorld, which are made in the USA.  The project also used an American made SMA Sunny Boy inverter, which can offer electricity during a power outage with no batteries.  In this picture, the homeowner is on the ladder to get a closer look at his newly installed PV system!  To view the production of their system visit here.
