This project is 11.2 kW in size. American made SolarWorld 285 watt modules were mounted to maximize the available roof space. The chimney casts a shadow directly behind it, which is why High Peaks Solar did not mount solar modules directly behind the chimney. The system contains two Sunny Boy TLUS-22 inverters, which allow for limited daytime power usage during a power outage. These inverters are located in the basement.
