Feulner Residence
Project Detail
This project is located in Scotia, N.Y. The roof contains 35 Trina solar modules, each rated at 250 watts. This project is 8.75 kW in size. Power is fed down the outside of the home and into the basement where the SMA inverters are located. These inverters have an emergency power supply (EPS) feature, which allows the home owner to have daytime electricity during a power outage. The EPS contains no batteries, yet allows the homeowner to simply flip a switch and use solar power during a blackout. Data from this project will be available on-line soon.
