This newly constructed 10.26 kW PV array was laid out to avoid shade from the various obstructions on the roof.  As you will see, the garage’s solar modules were mounted out of the shade from the taller house.  The upper roof’s solar modules were mounted to avoid the vents’ shade, but also have a symmetrical design.  This project contains two SMA Sunny Boy inverters inside of the basement and should produce approximately 11,000 kWh of electricity per year.
